Where would the World be without the controversial Greenday Lyrics? Greenday was formed late in 1989 when the drummer Al Sobrante joined with Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt. The groups first album 1039 Smooted out Slappy Hours was released and featured original Greenday Lyrics like At the Library, Don't Leave me, I was there, Disappearing Boy , Green Day, Going To Pasalacqua, 16, Road To acceptance, Rest, The Judge's Daughter, Paper Lanterns,Why Do you Want Him?, 409 In Your Coffeemaker, Knowledge, 1000 hours, Dry Ice, Only Of You, The One I want, and I want to be alone. The album was more successful than any of the band members had hoped and the band was complete.

The bands most successful record to date was the one they released in 1994 titled Dookie. The album featured the most famous of Greenday lyrics "All By Myself".  The Album also included Burnout, Having a Blast, Chump, Longview, Where To Paradise, Pulling Teeth, Basket Case, She, Sassafras, When I come Around, and In the End.

The Band has formed their image around making a stand and being unique. This is very obvious on the greenday lyrics for "American Idoits".  The band makes fun of the USA and their current war in the middle east.  Other albums released by Greenday include Shenanigans, Warnings, NimRod, and Insomniac.
